I just wanted to let everyone know that I am back. It was a long time to be without a camera, except an iPhone. Luckily I had plenty of time to read up and practice some skills. Several of my friends have invited me on some of their adventures so expect more photos. Due to my time away I wasn't always to get on DA to appreciate the wonderful art that you created, thank you for the kind words or fav your pieces. I apologize.

Soon I will be gone for a while. It is undetermined if I will have my camera sent to me based upon what I am doing. Periodically I should get on to DA to see the wonderful pieces of art that you are creating. This is primarily due to my work schedule and my chosen profession. If my camera is able to be sent to me I will share some of the pictures that I take. Hopefully I can continue what I like to do as quickly as possible.

Before I depart I should return to Santa Fe for a short visit. As many of you know Colorado was hit extremely hard by recent rains that caused flooding. Primarily the foot hills of the Rocky Mountains and the embedded communities were hit the hardest. I hope to make it to Estes Park before departing for the Fall colors and the Elk. I might get those photos out before I depart.

I finally get my opportunity for the summer for photography. Where do you like to go and what types of pictures do you prefer? My preference is landscapes and wildlife. This trip includes Rocky Mountain National Park, Breckenridge and trying my hand at nightscape photography at Independence Pass.

I have added your photos to my favorites not only out of friendship to some but because to me it has a wow factor. Granted art is subjectional to the viewer and their feelings at the time of viewing. But I would like to know about your photo editing software. What you use and what you wish you could have. Please provide the pros / cons, what you wished it had and why you have it.

If possible could you either briefly or in great detail, by posting on her or sending me a note, tell me your process for making a simple photograph into something that I have added to my favorites.

As for myself I use what came with my T2i along with NOISEWARE and sometimes either GIMP or PICMONKEY. I personally try to keep the colors as pure to that day as possible.

I ask this to not only help me but others that may visit here.
